Italian cookies recipe

This recipe is dedicated to all my female friends… Girls, I couldn’t find a better shape for you ;)

… …

What is that leer on your face now?

… …

It’s all about fashion, bags, diamond rings and dresses, right?

So here is the recipe for you. You can call them cookies or biscuits. Whatever… Enjoy!

Ingredients (for about 30 cookies):

500 gr flour

150 gr icing sugar

200 gr butter

1 egg

8 tbsp cream

1 tsp vanillin

3 tsp baking powder or Lievito Bertolini per dolci

pinch of salt

Preparation:

Soften the butter either leaving it long enough at room temperature or, chop it and warm it up in a small pan over low heat. Mix all the ingredients with your hands. Knead the dough briefly with your hands pushing and folding.

Roll a piece of the dough out with a rolling pin on a lightly floured surface or simply using your hands. Using your favorite shaped cookie cutter, cut out the cookies and place them on non stick baking sheet or lined with baking paper. Continue cutting the cookies until you finish the dough.

Bake them in an oven preheated to 150°C (300 F) for about 12 minutes.

Let them cool, sprinkle with some icing sugar, and keep them in an airtight container.
