Here we go. I know what you are thinking. Another blog about health, well-being, food and bla bla bla. But it’s more than just a blog for me. It’s a challenge for two main reasons:
1 – English is not my first language (so please be patient and feel free to correct my mistakes – it’s the only way to improve oneself)
2 – My transformation. I was one of the laziest persons on the planet and if I have to tell you the truth… talking about health issues still sounds weird to me
Two years ago something changed. I came to a point where I was tired of avoiding the mirror and trying to look beautiful like the hottest Victoria’s Secret models I saw on Tv. Getting dressed became miserable and I started every day feeling sad and defeated. I’m not perfect. We all know that perfection doesn’t exist but you know what? We can do our best to get very close to it.
I learned to follow a good lifestyle with discipline working out and eating pasta, bread, all that kind of yummy stuff and being fit at the same time.
At the end I’ve learned an important lesson: being skinny doesn’t mean being fit.
Is this blog only about pasta?
In this blog I’ll tell you my story.
I’ll tell you the love I have for food, writing and cooking.
I’ll tell you about my lifestyle in Canada and what Canadians’ healthy/unhealthy habits are.
I’ll tell you how the country with one of the worst and highest rates of obesity in the developed world makes me think and gives me day by day the strength to be what I wanted to be: an healthy person.
I’ll tell you my recipes.
I’ll tell Canadians and Americans how to cook real Italian food.
I’ll tell you the places that I visited and what I ate.
But most of all I’ll tell you my true LOVE story with pasta.
Feel free to leave comments, suggestions and your opinion to my posts. I’d really appreciate it!
